THE CERA PROJECT started its idealization when the founder Inês Valle started in an early age questioniong the veracity of the stories that were told her to be true, from her private family and friends circle to goverment learning programmes. The insatisfaction or the will that subsited in herself of understanding the other side of stories made her travel across continents and her will of sharing veiled stories from the Western History. Therefore this project focus on people's stories, on other real stories that add a more profund and complex narrative that is our shared world.

 

Envisaged as an itinerant platform for the promotion and exhibition of the visual arts on an international level, that aims to focused on and about Global South's narratives. THE CERA PROJECT encourages the development of critical dialogue between artists, curators, writers and collectors through an umbrella of cultural events as art exhibitions, conferences, performances, music or publications.
