Throughout May and June 2020 the CERA PROJECT presents a second phase of online screenings curated now by Lídia Ars Mello and Inês Valle. Featuring works by Sérgio Tréfaut and Florian Schott each piece is available to stream on our website between one to two weeks each.
Ao longo de Maio e Junho de 2020 o the PROJECTO CERA apresenta uma segunda fase de exibições fílmicas online programadas agora por Lídia Ars Mello e Inês Valle. Com obras de Sérgio Tréfaut e Florian Schott cada peça está disponível no nosso website entre uma a duas semanas cada filme.
The film programmed by Lídia Ars Mello, this month of May, is "Lisboetas", 2004, 1h41min, directed by Sérgio Tréfaut. "Lisboetas" is a documentary about immigration in Portugal, focusing on the daily lives of immigrants living in the peripheral area of Lisbon, a far from easy experience.
O filme programado por Lídia Ars Mello, este mês de Maio, é "Lisboetas", 2004, 1h41min, do realizador Sérgio Tréfaut. "Lisboetas" é um documentário sobre a imigração em Portugal, com foco na vida cotidiana dos imigrantes que vivem na área periférica de Lisboa, uma experiência nada fácil.

Sérgio Tréfaut was born in Brazil in 1965, son of a Portuguese father and a French mother. He studied philosophy at the Sorbonne (Paris) and began his professional life in Lisbon in the 1990s as a journalist and assistant director to authors such as Teresa Villaverde, José Álvaro de Moraes and António Campos. He has been a producer and director for 20 years. Between 2004 and 2010, he directed the Doclisboa Festival, was for several years president of Apordoc (Portuguese Documentary Association). His documentaries have been screened in over 40 countries and have received several international awards. "Lisboetas" was the first Portuguese documentary to be shown in the commercial circuit for three consecutive months.
